Is my financial data private? +
Yes. The Hive runs entirely on your device and makes no network requests. It collects nothing — no tracking, no analytics, no ads, no data sold — and nothing you enter is ever sent to a third party. Read the full privacy policy.
Do I need to connect a bank account? +
No. The Hive works entirely on-device with no account, no bank link, and no credentials. It does not connect to your bank or any outside financial service — you model your runway privately on your device.
How does the forecast work? +
The Hive runs a Monte Carlo simulation — thousands of possible futures — across your income and obligations. Instead of a single optimistic line, it shows the full spread of outcomes, so you can see how likely and how severe a shortfall could be.
Does The Hive move real money? +
No. In this version, money-movement is simulated on-device only — no real funds move and no payment processor is ever contacted. Any payment action is additionally gated behind an explicit, per-payment confirmation.
How do I delete my data? +
Your data lives only on your device. You can permanently delete it — and any local profile — from inside the app at any time: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. It's immediate and irreversible, with no email or support request required. Removing the app also erases everything.
What devices are supported? +
The Hive is built for iPhone running a current version of iOS. The living-hive visualization is tuned for modern devices and gracefully scales on older ones.
